Tim manages the firm’s asbestos and mass tort law practice. Tim defends clients regionally, and assists in their defense nationally.  Tim is experienced with early evaluation of claims to assess the potential for a quick resolution, as well as handling complex and mass discovery, mass document retention and handling, witness identification and third party practice, complex discovery and dispositive motions, corporate witness preparation and defense, expert retention and deposing plaintiffs’ national and regional experts, mediating complex litigation claims, and preparing these claims for trial.  

Clients depend on Tim’s twenty years of experience in strategic planning the defense of cases from both a case and global perspective.  Tim’s focus is on the client’s business.   Tim knows that keeping abreast of his client’s industries, and business needs is a critical part of evaluating cases and in defense planning in mass tort litigation.  The goals of the client extend beyond the issues in any single case.  The manner in which any case is handled can have effects on the clients locally, regionally, and at times nationally.  Tim has extensive experience in meeting these goals in litigation through early claim resolution, dispositive motions, alternative dispute resolution through arbitration and mediation, and preparing experts and the case for trial.  Tim is involved in asbestos defense groups in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, and experienced working with National Defense Counsel, National Coordinating Counsel, National Expert Counsel, MDL Lead Counsel, handling case and case groupings as lead counsel, as well as handling all aspects of claims directly.
